Payment Processing via Stripe

For the processing of payments (app subscriptions and the purchase of beehive scales and their service fees), we use the service Stripe from the American technology company Stripe, Inc., 510 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. For customers within the EU, Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland is responsible.

Betrieb dieser Website (World4You)

Diese Website sowie der E-Mail-Versand aus dem Kontaktformular werden bei der World4You Internet Services GmbH, Hafenstraße 47-51, 4020 Linz, Österreich, betrieben. Push-Benachrichtigungen (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

Für die Zustellung von Push-Benachrichtigungen an die App nutzen wir Firebase Cloud Messaging der Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland) bzw. Google LLC (USA). Dabei werden ein Geräte-Token sowie der Benachrichtigungsinhalt verarbeitet; die Verarbeitung kann auch außerhalb der EU, insbesondere in den USA, erfolgen. Google ist unter dem EU-US Data Privacy Framework zertifiziert und verwendet ergänzend Standardvertragsklauseln (Art. 46 DSGVO). Nicht mehr genutzte Geräte-Tokens werden nach 270 Tagen automatisch gelöscht.

Dienst-Benachrichtigungen, etwa Alarme zu Ihren Bienenstöcken oder das Ergebnis einer von Ihnen gestarteten Sprachaufnahme, sind Teil der von Ihnen angeforderten Leistung. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Vertragserfüllung); das Speichern und Auslesen der Push-Registrierung auf Ihrem Endgerät ist für diesen von Ihnen ausdrücklich gewünschten Dienst unbedingt erforderlich (§ 165 Abs. 3 TKG 2021). Eine Einwilligung ist dafür nicht erforderlich. Sie steuern diese Benachrichtigungen über die Benachrichtigungsberechtigung Ihres Endgeräts sowie in der App unter Einstellungen > Profil > Bearbeiten, wo Sie je Benachrichtigungsart zwischen Push, E-Mail und „aus“ wählen können.

Mobilfunk-Anbindung der Bienenstockwaagen (EMnify)

Die Bienenstockwaagen übertragen ihre Messdaten über eine Mobilfunkverbindung. Die dafür erforderliche SIM- und Konnektivitätsverwaltung erfolgt über die EMnify GmbH, Berlin, Deutschland. Dabei fallen Verbindungs- und Nutzungsdaten an (u. a. SIM-Kennungen, IP-Adresse, Verbindungs- und Sitzungsprotokolle, Datenvolumen). Die Verarbeitung erfolgt innerhalb der EU bzw. des EWR; es besteht ein Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag gemäß Art. 28 DSGVO. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

Kartendarstellung und Ortssuche in der App (Google Maps Platform)

In der App nutzen wir zur Kartendarstellung, zur Adress- und Ortssuche sowie zur Geokodierung die Google Maps Platform der Google Ireland Limited bzw. Google LLC. Dabei werden Ihre IP-Adresse, eingegebene Suchbegriffe sowie Standortdaten an Google übermittelt und können auch in den USA verarbeitet werden. Google ist unter dem EU-US Data Privacy Framework zertifiziert und verwendet Standardvertragsklauseln. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO bzw. Ihre Einwilligung.

Schutz vor Spam und Missbrauch (Google reCAPTCHA)

Zum Schutz unserer Formulare vor automatisiertem Missbrauch setzen wir Google reCAPTCHA (Version 3 mit Version 2 als Rückfallebene) der Google Ireland Limited bzw. Google LLC ein. reCAPTCHA wertet dazu verschiedene Merkmale aus (u. a. IP-Adresse, Verweildauer und Interaktionsverhalten). Dabei können Daten in die USA übermittelt werden; Google ist unter dem EU-US Data Privacy Framework zertifiziert und verwendet Standardvertragsklauseln. Storage Duration

Wir speichern personenbezogene Daten nur so lange, wie es für die jeweiligen Zwecke erforderlich ist bzw. gesetzliche Aufbewahrungspflichten bestehen:

• Konto-, Nutzungs- sowie Bienenstock- und Waagendaten: für die Dauer des Nutzerkontos; nach Löschung des Kontos werden sie gelöscht.
• Geräte-Tokens für Push-Benachrichtigungen: automatische Löschung nach 270 Tagen ohne Nutzung.
• Rechnungs- und zahlungsrelevante Daten: gemäß den gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungsfristen (in Österreich in der Regel sieben Jahre).
• Sicherungskopien (Backups): Nach einer Kontolöschung können Daten für einen begrenzten, dokumentierten Zeitraum in verschlüsselten Sicherungskopien verbleiben, bis diese planmäßig auslaufen; bei einer Wiederherstellung werden zwischenzeitliche Löschungen erneut angewendet.

Data Storage by Beehive Scales and App

The data collected from the beehives is only available to the user themselves and the BeeSaver team. It is stored for the purpose of evaluations and analyses and is only passed on to third parties in anonymized form for research purposes.
